NaProTECHNOLOGY (NaPro) stands for Natural Procreative Technology. The foundation of NaProTECHNOLOGY comes from the Creighton Model FertilityCare system (CrMS). This system captures various biomarkers about the menstrual cycle in a standardized fashion, allowing providers to evaluate and diagnose the root cause of women’s health issues. Medical and surgical procedures can then be employed to restore your body back to optimal health. This approach strives to work cooperatively with your body and not against it, thus, respecting and honoring the way God created us. If seeking NaProTECHNOLOGY services, it is recommended to be charting for 6-8 weeks with the Creighton Model FertilityCare system prior to your first visit. Functional Medicine
NaProTECHNOLOGY and functional medicine work hand in hand since both of these modalities focus on a root cause approach. Functional medicine offers a comprehensive, in-depth analysis to investigate and treat simple and complex health issues. There’s a strong focus on the prevention of disease and restoration of overall health and well-being. The partnership between you and the provider is key in developing unique treatment plans, tailored to each individual and their needs. By asking the question, “Why?”, we can begin to unravel your story, identifying various root causes and addressing them.
Holistic Health
Health is not a singular entity. To optimize outcomes and reach individual goals, all aspects of health must be integrated – physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual. This whole body approach to health is bio-individual, meaning no two assessments and treatment plans will look the same. Our goal is to walk alongside you on your healing journey, providing tools and guidance, but ultimately, healing is your responsibility.
What types of services are offered?

- Evaluation and interpretation of menstrual cycle charting, such as the Creighton Model FertilityCare System, Billings Ovulation Method, Marquette Method, Sympto-Thermal Method, to give some examples
- Preconception consultation and wellness
- Postpartum consultation and wellness
- Management of progesterone support, thyroid support, and functional medicine needs during pregnancy
- Blood chemistry testing and interpretation with a functional mindset with advanced functional medicine testing, HTMA, and bioresonance scans when appropriate
- Functional medicine consultations, with focus on foundational health and drainage pathways – consultations can be completed prior to pregnancy, during pregnancy, or after pregnancy
What types of services are not offered?
- At this time, Dr. Melissa does not provide surgical services, admit patients to the hospital or treat hospitalized patients. This may change in the future so please stay in touch and follow us for updates! If you are in need of or are concerned you may need surgery, Dr. Melissa can complete a consultation for you to discuss your needs and direct you to the proper surgeon based on your unique situation.

- Prenatal care, delivery and postnatal care services are not provided.
